Another wheel and tire question

Recommended Posts

I'm lacing a 16in rear rim from a 150f onto my 150f front hub for minimoto racing and I have two quick questions:

(1) Buchanan said that the rear rim would require a "re-angle" of the spoke holes. Others have laced their 150f rear rim to the front hub and I don't recall them having to re-angle the spoke holes in the rim.

(2) Other than the speed rating, is there a difference between the BT-45V and BT45 Bridgestone front tire?

Thanks

i think they are confused, ive never seen any issues with having to re-angle the holes unless it was a drop-center rim (i.e. 5" rim)

if you can, get the BT-45 "high performance" tire, alot stickier

and if u want to go more crazy, see if u can get some VHT from your local drag strip to spray on the tire, hahaha, i know of a guy doing this on his 12" mini-moto tires and loves it
