TXC450 clutch plate install Q please?

Recommended Posts

I'm switching back to the stock clutch from a rekluse Pro.

Are there any indexing or anything when stacking in the clutch plates?

The fiber plates have 3 notched fingers evenly spaced around the fingers. Do these need to be all matching and or do they index with the basket in any way?

I stack in a fiber 1st and then steel/fiber/steel till I have a fiber on the outside last right?

Then it's the throw out arm that goes over the push rod and then a flat bearing and a spacer against the pressure plate?

Lastly springs and screws tightened against the pressure plate.

Sound about right?

Thanks

Yep...

Swapped the stock clutch back in yesterday, all went good.

Rekluse just ain't for me.

This TXC frankly doesn't need it. Bewteen the hydro clutch, the nature of the engine and drivetrain and the JD jetting the driveability and ability to keep her chugging whether puttin' or blastin' is amazing! great bike!
