Tips on Bleeding brakes/tuning brakes

Recommended Posts

I know about zip-tying the front brake lever squeezed with the cap off to get the air bubbles out of the line. But is there any other methods out there to get rock solid brakes? On the rear as well?

I like the quick and easy method. Its a perfect check of the pins as well and simple to do while riding. The pins the caliper slides on, not the pins that hold the pad in place.

The test or fix? Push in the caliper. This will push the piston into the caliper body. Fluid gets forced up as will air. To finish, pump up the brake lever or pedal..You can repeat this a time or two if necessary.
