2009 crf250r float bowl on a 2005 crf450x carb?

I want to put a Boyesen QS3 on my 2005 CRF450X. I know I have to remove the check valve ball, spring and plug from the 05 float bowl to install the QS3. Does anyone know if I can just mount the QS3 on a 2009 CRF250R float bowl and bolt it right up to the 2005 CRF450X carb?

The only thing good is the ALJ. Everything else is marketing hype.

So unless you regularly tweak the jetting for the air density and type of track/type of race you are doing, it is a waste of money. Sadly, it is true for a lot of aftermarket parts. A lot of hype and little reality.
