damper rod holder...

so im going nuts here..my bike has been in pieces since i bought it...winter coming soon...

will a 89 yz 80 125 and 250 tool fit on a 93 250?

It looks like it might, but for the cost you may be able to skip the tool entirely. Notice how the size is very close to a wooden broom or shovel handle. Its probably not the perfect choice for all time, but for a fork or two...

please explain...i tried pvc and even aluminum rigid conduit and the damper rod chews it to pieces and then i have to remake the teeth cuz theyll slip again. i heard using an impact gun but thats a scary thought. everything is aluminum...

The impact gun is the best. Your trying to break loose the damper rod bolt. Its held in place with loctite so the rod spins unless you hold it or hit it fast. Either way works well.

I like the wood as it tends to grip. PVC woudl work, but its slippery when it gets oil on it.
