Am I stupid or is something wrong?

I just opened up my seat cover that came with my graphics kit, I was going to install it tonight but I noticed that the part that is suppose to cover the rear is flipped inside out where its pre formed. So the gray part thats suppose to be underneath is on top and you have to flip it inside out to get the gripper part to show. Is that suppose to be like that or did I get ripped off?

Looks correct to me... The exterior is the rough side, provides traction for your ass or as we used to call gription ?

Just noticed the red circle.. I'd say tuck it under and staple away.

The gray part should be underneath though because theres a pocket there for the rear of the seat to go into, but for some reason its flipped up ontop? I tried to flip it out and make it fit, but the vinyl on the kawasaki logo is kinda thick.

Looks right. Flip it inside out you'll have a pocket with nice seams.
