Recommended Posts

i want to refresh the whole suspension for some good results.

THEY SEEM TO MAKE GOOD CLAIMS ABOUT THE TEFLON SEALS.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Sure but they are pricey in my opinion at $34 per side (or $68 total just for the seals). I can get the OEM seals for ~$12.50 per side. So a 172% markup is not worth it in my opinion. Regular servicing and cleaning is paramount for long lasting seals and overall performance of the suspension.

Agreed. I've run SKF's in a couple different machines and would say they last 2X as long as OEM/ typical aftermarket. Not worth the price difference IMO unless stiction is a really big issue for you.

they are twice that price here

here the 2 kits costs 60 and the OEM price for WP, KYB, Showa is between 45 and 52

ie not that much of a difference and always worth it, esp if you have to change oil and dust seal anyway.
