Trade in a used 12' for a new 12??

I have a 2012 KTM 350sx-f ...msrp $8599?

What could I expect on trade in if I wanted to take it to a dealer and trade it in straight up for a 2012 125sx or 150 sx ($6200-$6400 msrp)

man they probably wont give you a straight up trade. It doesn't benefit the dealer to trade a new bike for a used bike no matter the price difference.

The 350 lost $2k when it rolled out the door. But, this dealer should try hard to keep your business. This hinges on the demand for 350's in your area., so I'm guessing you'll make a trade that costs you what you have in the 350 and prob a few hundred on top of that.

I think i only paid 7300 for my 350 brand new, I would doubt they could sell a used one for more than 6-7? and they gotta make money, I would doubt they would give you more than 5-6K,

Your bike 5 to 5.5K at best. New will be MSRP with a trade. You have to learn how trades work,not for your benefit, but for the dealers.
