Effect of valving on balance

So, titel says enough. How does valving affect the balance of the bike?

E.g. if one reduces float the front stays higher than before.

Does this affect balance much?

other examples?

When yes, will altering sag be enough to compansate this?

It is not stupid, however the proper reply might be a bit longer than the question itself. Be patient-someone will enlighten us:)

whilst springs set the static height front and rear , valving does effect the dynamic height front and rear , a softly valved shock will ride low even with a correct spring , so you do have to try to match setups , but sone riders like a stiff fork and soft rear so it's about communication

The reason why I ask is mainly because of float changes.

If you got a DDT setup or a conevalve fork, which involve more initital LS damping the bike stays higher than with a original float type setup.

IMO a drastic change!

I'm just curious if you guys put this into account or not.

? my exact experience, i felt the same, but i learned something, before DDT i was thinking that my front was washing out but in reality it was knifing to interior.

So balance is very important, too much or too little may feel the same (loosing the front, you feel you have to dab with your foot) but the bike is doing something totally different.

From this point of view DDT (no float fork stays higher) was a big improvement
