Suspension questions

Recommended Posts

I have the bike manual that came with the purchase along with a booklet of settings of the WP suspension.

1. on the book it says to counterclockwise the high speed compression fully and turn in 2 full turns clockwise. But on the booklet it says the other ways around.

which of these is right?

2. also, it says that standard clicks for the shock rebound is 26 clicks out. i did that and that corresponds to fully counterclockwise (locked). is this the true settings? kinnda weird i think.

3. is the rebound setting adjustment are on the underside of the WP forks or on the above 3p-clamps?

screwing any of the adjusters IN increases damping.

rebound on top of the forks for the older open chamber forks.

I've never owned that bike but it is normal to start to count clicks or turns from the "all the way in" position. Count while turning the adjuster counterclockwise. I've never seen a bike work otherwise. You were asking that too right?

26 clicks out doesn't make sense for a "normal" setting. 12-15 is probably more like it.
