Rekluse Pro versus Core EXP on hill climbs

Recommended Posts

I've got an 07 WR250F with a Rekluse Pro. I love it in the tight single track but it's unpredictable on long, technical hill climbs when trying to feather it. Seems like if I start feathering it earlier than necessary, I can use it like a stock clutch when it starts bogging - sometimes. But if I don't feather it early, it's unpredictable and doesn't seem to engage when I fan it.

I just bought a 2008 300 XCW and am considering whether to put a Rekluse on it. The guys at Rekluse seem to think a Core EXP may be more effective because it supposedly maintains the stock lever feel throughout the RPM range.

Has anyone else experienced this with the Pro, or have thoughts on whether the EXP would be better?
