Utah Caineville in the winter?

Ok so I am going to be taking a road trip across the country and I have always wanted to ride caineville. Only problem is that it will be sometime in January, whenever I get leave. So basically is there alot of snow there, or is it ride-able?

If weather conditions do not permit, does anyone know of any other good desert or dunes, anywhere between Las Vegas and Colorado?

That would be entirely weather dependent. What's the weather going to be the 3 weeks leading up to your departure? Some winters it's dry all the time, others, well...

There are pleanty of us that can give you weather updates. The temps will be cold in January. You could be looking at 20-35 degrees.

You should avoid Caineville if the ground is wet. It is really nasty mud.

For sand dunes, you could try Sand Hollow (near St George) or Coral Pink Sand Dunes (near Kanab).
