xr 650 r (clients)

Recommended Posts

this is a clients 650 r which started as an enduro and was transformed in a motard...

excel rims with stock hubs, a full beringer front brake system ,amr graphics, vapor tacho, renthal fat bar...

it started like that...

ended like that...

first tuning stage was a baker full exhaust and an fcr 41...

lately i tore the motor down and put a wossner stock bore piston ,a stage 1 hotcam, kibblewhite black diamond stock size valves and ported the head...

the piston was 11/1 actual but ended up 10.5 due to extensive chamber work for unshrouding the valves ...

piston,hot cam...(no comments for the pink laptop...👍)

kibblewhite valves on head...

and a couple from the head...

and a comparison dyno...conditions were extremelly hot in both cases,34 celcium,80 humidity,so i believe 2-3 more ponies are in order...

it flatens a lot up top,so i'll make a custom header for it like my fmx and see what happens...

Thats what I plan on doing to my XXR. What kind of spokes did you use to lace up the new rims since you used stock hubs? PS the bike looks great but the decals are a bit much.
