XC vs XC-w

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at selling my RMZ450 and my 200EXC and getting one bike for both MX and off road. I'm looking at either a 300 or 250. I'm confused out the xc vs xc-W. I know the W is wide ration but what is the riding difference?

Not a whole lot. The W is going to be gappy. The XC will be the closed chamber forks while the W will be open chamber,, Someone can chime in and verify as I am not 100% sure on that. I would want the closed chamber for mx. You should be happier with the XC I would think.

OK thanks. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to sell the bikes or keep em.

I would take any parts off your exc200 and put them on to your new ktm. Then sell the 200 and keep the RMZ450 as your true track bike. Your new KTM will be better offroad so no sense in keeping the EXC200.

The point is to only have one bike LOL. I have been toying with rebuilding the motor on the 200 and putting a rekluse on it. I just can't see putting $1k into $1400 bike. I need to sell both if I plan on getting something new.
