best hour metre?

hi guys, can anyone tell me what hour metre they use and what is best?

just got my 2012 kxf 250 and need to buy an hour metre

They are all pretty good, but the basic Sendec one is sleek and reliable.

I have the DrD on my 2011, easy to install, but the gas tank mount it over priced.?

They're all about the same but some show RPM's while running and some don't. DRD has a good one.

Something tells me that there are only a couple of manufacurers and they both use the same factory in China (like cheap Helmets and expensive helmets). Get the meter on sale.

I bought one for 12 bucks shipped...its some chinese one, it has a tach and hour meter as well as a programmable service alarm thinger. I've been really happy with it, and I was able to make a gas tank mount for it that cost me less than a cent. Just search hour meter on ebay..

Go on ebay and search tach hour meter, it's the most common one that comes up. Also it has two buttons on it, S1 and S2. Also the only one that isn't brand name and doesn't cost 40$

If you do some searching around you can probably find the one that I got with free shipping. Also make sure to get the one that only has one cord, I heard some of them have two cords which means you need to hook up a ground. (I never actually came across one but it's just a heads up to you.)

just buy the one from sears. You can even get it online too...$30 last i checked

Yep, most are made by same manufacturer. The resettable ones are kind of pointless to me though.

they all come from the same factory in china, and then each company just gets a different face plate. I've used $30-50 ones and they are all fine and last ages! Longer than the life of your bike anyway

i have the works connection one on a tank mount it displays live rpms and max rpms 10 seconds after shut off kinda pricey but super cool
