Decomp Perch Got Raped In Crash

FUBAR'd my decomp perch on my bike. Will a generic hot-start assembly replace it, ie Wirtz, Works Connection, or would it need some slight modification? I'd prefer it if I could, seeing as how they have a smaller profile.

Also, which would be better, a complete chutch perch w/ hot start, hot start alone, or one that replaces that replaces the clamp side of the brake master cylinder?

Oh, price isn't a worry for me, so cut loose.

Aftermarket CRF perch on my XR4, available cheap and easy, hotstart lever used as decomp, looks and works nice, no modifications needed:

Found an interesing one made by Sunline. It replaces the clamp half of the brake master cylinder and is operated with your thumb, and keeps it away for crash damage for the most part. Says it will work with stock cable.

JohanChaves is right, I quickly ditched a few days ago the CRF small hotstart lever, after a few pulls my fingers went numb ?

I've put the stock XR decomp lever onto the CRF perch, length was cut in half.

you could probably find one for the XR400 on ebay for like $5.00

I do have to agree the the crf one is way nicer looking than that of XR. wait a minute, thumb type ist cool too:thumbsup:
