quick jetting question

im in new jersey with temps around 55-70 depending on the day. i have a JD jet kit set up with blue clip 3rd position and 440 main jet. quesiton is, now that its starting to get a little colder do i need to change it? if so any tips on where to start?

The colder the air gets, the leaner your jettings gets.

But whether you have to change it or not, depends on how big of a temperature swing there is and how close to the jagged edge of lean you currently are.

If you're a bit rich, you should be fine with your current setup, unless you plan on ice racing in the single digits. Then i'd richen it up a bit.

440 should be plenty rich up top... Id just plan on making a needle adjustment soon, may need to richen it up one of these days, middle clip should be ok for now though. Pull the plug and have a look after you run it.
