Longer Pullrod (Link Arm)

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what geometry mods the 2011 250 riders have made. I have been told to lower the rear by extending the pullrod 2mm. Wondering any of you have done this and if it really made a difference or what , if anything you all have done to improve the 2011 handling. It definitely has issues.

The lowering link is 100% going to help. The bike off the showroom floor is little high in the back end.

Keep the front end flush. If you lower the forks in the triple clamps and add the lowering link, you're putting it back the way it was. That's the problem, the back end is too high. You can also have the shock lowered, but it's pretty expensive.

That's what I got for my kids 09 450 and he was very satisified with it.
