NewJersey MORE MCI !!! Stump Jumper Enduro New Riders Read!

Recommended Posts

MCI Preview

Greetings all,

It’s time to finish off a great racing year, and MCI is rolling up its sleeves to put on another quality event.

We have one solid goal this year and that is:

Create an “entry level” enduro that new guys will feel glad they came and NOT get “beat-up”. We are aiming to be the “fun/beginner” enduro for the Late-Fall Riding season

“Fast guy” disclaimer: Of course we’ll have sections that will test AA-A-B guys. We promise to provide an event in which “the fastest rider wins, with ZERO time keeping games!” Word from our trailboss is LOTS of start controls thus providing ZERO burns. We feel it’s the best way to end the year; allowing class points battles, with ZERO BS.

The course will be split in two. Coyle Field in the morning, gas back in the parking field, Bass River in the afternoon… We’re well aware that some feel Coyle Field is too much, we sent 3-5 REAL “C” level riders in the course and they felt it was “doable” and ridable. Long resets will be present.

We all know Bass River is the Filet Migone of the ECEA enduro series! Fun, flowing sections combined with a cool MX special test in a pit… Dude, invite “that guy” that wants to try our sport out!

Lucille’s will have the food covered, and the firehouse will have coffee and simple sandwiches. Does MCI have cool awards and prizes??? Heck yeah!!! The Stumpjumper trophy session is known to be legendary; “millions” are given away each year!!! (Note: we don’t give away “Millions of Dollars”, millions refers to laughs and cool stuff)

Spread the word, post on any/all riding sites, tell guys at the Hammer Run, post it on craigslist, or just plain call your riding buddy! ADV riders are welcome!

See you at the Warren Grove Fire House RT 539 South on 11-12-11 (2-6pm Saturday Sign-up), 11-13-2011 Sunday 6:00 am.

For any of you out there who are wanting to do this enduro (or any enduro) and have never participated in one before, MCI added a 'first time enduro racer checklist' document to help you out.

It's full of a lot of good information. Stuff I would have loved to have had back when I was starting.

Give it a look:
