kx250f shim stack setup

Recommended Posts

have a 2010 kx250f, looking to reshim it since my buddies kx450f with mb1 suspension is way better. i dont want to do THAT much taking apart and adjusting since oil is expensive and doing forks its time consuming. anybody have a basis i can go off of? im 148lbs in clothes, skill is nov/int. the bottoming seems decent so i suppose i have to do more work with the mid valve

you want a freebie ? we don't really do that on this site, you have to post up what you have and what you want , then it's up to you to make some effort to think about what you want to change , and we suggest things to help

first u need a softer spring. after u try that then i would copy the valving from a 2012. that rear shock works great for a stock shock.

i wasnt expecting anything close to perfect. simply a basis to go off of

Welcome to the site!

You do have a basis to go off of, its your stock setting. Its what you have already. Thats what mog is saying. Dive in and post up your stack and ask questions. Or you might a be good candidate for the Smart Performance DIY kit! You get the shims, the fluid and a build sheet to go off of. There are many reviews out there.
