If you have a "small" wheel 85 and the kid gets taller can you change it over to a "big" wheel with just wheels and tires or is there more to it? I am sure there will be a gear change but thats no big deal. My friends son is in a growing spurt ...not ready for the big wheel just yet.

Nope, you need the rims, tires, tubes, sprockets, chain, and the new swingarm.

The following parts are different from a CR80/85R and CR80/85RB:

1. Front rim - R=17", RB=19"

2. Rear rim - R=14", RB=16"

3. Swingarm - approximately 1 1/2" longer

4. Rear brake line - to accomodate longer swingarm

5. Gearing - R=15/49 or 15/50, RB=15/55 or 15/56

6. Chain - longer to accomodate larger sprocket

Obviously you need tubes and tires for the different rim size. If your chain is new, you can get away with using the CR80/85R rear brake line, as your chain stretches and sprockets wear you will notice your brake line getting tighter as you tighten the chain. I have converted quite a few and just picked up a CR80RB with a bad motor that I am getting ready to part. PM me and we could work out a complete conversion deal.
