Rad Replacement

Hey guys, gotta question for all of you, i got an 2008 rm-z450 and today i went for a trail rip with my buddy and i had a bit of a spill and my left rad ended up twisting and started to leak,i pulled it apart once i got home and it probally needs a new core but not sure if anyone will do it, or do it for a cheap cost. So if it ends up being not fixable, what radiator would you purchase, i called the local dealer and they said it would be around $450cdn and thats just way outta my budget right now, so it would probs be something aftermarket but what is strongest and most reliable and cost efficient.

oem replacements are 70 bucks on ebay, also aluminum rad guards are 15 bucks on ebay.

Send your damaged radiators to Myler's radiator repair in Utah (http://www.motorcycleradiators.com). I have sent them a couple of my bent, twisted, leaking, etc. and they had them back in my hands in less than a week for $75 each time.

Mylers really is unbelievable. Rad comes back looking brand new no matter how much I think it is junk. I've sent them 3 or 4 over the last few years and they are awesome

Yaa it seems like it i just looked at their website, i got to go and see how much shipping is gonna cost me cuz im sending it from Canada.........does it often cost 75$? or more. I was looking at thier rads that they make and their 135$ is that worth buying instead? or just keep repairing my oem one?

They charge by the time for repair so if more messed up...Shipping is a good point cause you have to pay both ways. Could be cost effective to by an afgermarket or a Mylers already fixed one. Good luck.

the links look good. i would go with ebay or aftermarket. you are gona get nailed for shipping 2 ways plus brokerage fees if you send the old ones down to get repaired. at least with ebay, you are only paying for shipping 1 way. i am fortunate enough to live very close to the border and buy and ship all the time. almost all the time i just buy from ebay because the prices on ebay are very good.
