Kx250 2t Silencer Test/review

Recommended Posts

On my KTM I used to own, I bought some of the factory rubber grommets to put in the large holes of the FMF Turbinecore mounts. I'm thinkin' this might be something you wanna look into if you choose to run that FMF..... :busted: Otherwise, that silencer is gonna be able to move around a bit, eventually.

Yea, I got mine setup like yours, works great

need to get the correct hardware! should be rubber mounted with gromets, that is why the hole is so big on the silencer and why there is a gap...and that video was painful to watch dude...sorry!

If you mean painful as in quality, I agree, I had to use my crappy camera

Thanks for the video comparison.

Yeah, just pull the OEM rubber grommets and stock collars / washers. I changed mine from OEM to a Pro Circuit. I had to move the OEM parts over. Mine was purchased used, but I doubt they came with the rubber grommets.

FMF markets their silencers as 2003 - 2007. PC markets theirs as 2005 - 2007.

All I'm going to say is that you can not compare a spark arrestor silencer against an open silencer, it's just not a fair fight. They are two totally different designs ment for two totally different applications.
