NewYork Looking for long trails around Lake Ontario!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! Over thanksgiving break, I plan to take a road trip from southeast NH up around Lake Ontario and back. My dad and I love road trips, and love riding. Approximate route: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=03862&daddr=44.66706,-75.0234+to:Kitchener,+Ontario,+Canada+to:03862&hl=en&geocode=FcjbjwIdMVDH-ynZCvr16-niiTGzW6oJIQss-Q%3BFbSQqQId2DuH-ymfm94IIl7MTDFcaehLl-WV0w%3BFUfBlgIdzQE0-ykFUe4DjPQriDFLVF_f5vgllQ%3BFcjbjwIdMVDH-ynZCvr16-niiTGzW6oJIQss-Q&aq=&sll=42.795401,-75.651855&sspn=4.67554,11.315918&vpsrc=0&mra=ls&via=1&ie=UTF8&ll=43.564472,-75.651855&spn=4.617078,11.315918&t=m&z=7

We did a trip up to northern maine a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic. That variety of trails we experienced (muddy/sandy/tight/technical/deep forest/mountain/rocky etc.) was fantastic. I would love to be able to find something like that again.

We cover a lot of ground, so long trails are better. And he rides a 4x4 while I'm on my CRF250x. So the trails have to be 4x4 friendly. We're totally open to any type of trip, so if we stay one place for a couple nights, then move to the next, thats fine. We estimate the trip will be around 5-6 days, but everything is completely open. Please let me know of any good trail networks around our route!! Any help is appreciated!!
