Difference Shocks YZ vs. WR F

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

I'm searching for a second shock to test different settings at the track.

My bike is a YZ 125 05 --> 16 rod

It's a long term target the find exactly a shock for this bike...

So, what shocks will also fit for my bike?

Whats the matter with WR F shocks? Do they have other pistons?

Or any other differences (except the valving) compared to YZ shocks?

Thanks

Flo

03-12 yz125 shocks will fit as will 250 shocks and the yzf shocks (not the 2010 onwards 450) but you will have too stiff valving with shocks from bigger bikes

Okay thanks!

But I thought they changed the roddiameter from 16 to 18 some year?

I guess its hard to compare 2 settings with 2 different rodsizes...:busted:

Well, I found a 250 F shock out of a 2005.

Would be nice, cause it got a 16 rod and the spring rate I need.

200 EUR, think its not to much, but also not really cheap.
