YZ125 stock handlebars (2005)?

Hi I have a 2005 yz125 and i want to know what size handlebars are stock on this bike because I am buying a replacement renthal handlebar and i have the option between standard 7/8 inch or the oversize 1 1/8 bars. Also did the 2005 come stock with renthals?

No...7/8th is the correct size, 07 is the year they changed them on the 125 to 1 1/8

Not correct. I have an 05 yz125 in the garage. It has 7/8" Renthals. The bar mounts are also part of the casting of the top triple clamp, not separate like I believe the 06+ to be.

looks like the guy before me might have changed. are these measurements a diameter or a circumference? im gonna try to measure em out

Mine had 7/8 renthals. It's diameter. If it's the same diameter throughout the entire bar then it's 7/8. 1 1/8 bars are larger diameter in the middle where they're clamped.

My 05 250 has the 7/8 renthals. The bend is my favorite. I wish I knew what is the closest aftermarket bend.
