Cr125 help!

Recommended Posts

so yesterday my bike stalled out after popping the clutch doing a wheelie , the bike stalled out and when i tried kicking it it made a scratching metal sound. so i ripped it apart and the top end was fine, the sound is coming from the bottom end and i just replaced the clutch with no problems. I'm already planning on sending the motor out to eric gorr 134 kit

should i buy a new bottom end off ebay for around 500?

what are the steps to finding out what the actual problem is , I'm pretty good with a wrench in my hand but i hear bottom ends are tricky ?

Dont be intimidated by splitting the cases!

If ur a decent wrench as you say, it'll be easy. Make sure you have a manual, easier if you get the specialty tools.

Really thats the only way to know for sure if the prob is in the bottom. I'd imagine if you heard metal to metal and it was the bottom there would be some kind metal evidence in the oil.

if you do split the cases, google Rockymountain atvs youtube vids featureing Bottom end rebuild.
