What does lots of road riding actually do? WR250f

The one issue i had while on motard setup for 2 years was the flywheel(Rotor) shakes the two halves apart until the rivets are loose and ignition timing goes to crap. This happened 3 times twice on brand new flywheels once with replaced oversize rivets. I returned it to dirt trim after that.

Ive heard that running on knobbys is more forgiving than the slicks i was running as the engine "putts" are somewhat absorbed by the tread like a cush drive.

Glad to get confirmation on the loose flywheel from street wheelies. I'm sure that's what happened to my bike, even with knobs (but knobs probably help). I agree that if you don't hammer gears at peak power you should be fine.
