Cr250 trade

I might be trading my 2005 rmz250 for a 2000 cr250. Is it a good deal. My bike is worth around 2200 and the guy wants 2000 for his. Is it reasonable for him to throw in a few hundred?

blue book is one thing, real world is another. however, even so, IMO the cr is worth no more than $1500. you will be putting money into it also i can assure you. i paid about $1200 for mine 3 years ago. theyve only gotten older.

The CR is worth a lot more in "fun factor".

You can find year 2000 era CR250s on NJ Craigslist all day in the $1500 range.

Personally I'd hold out for a newer 2t, cr,rm,yz..

TRADE!!!! Had an 06 rmz and now have a 2000 cr250r PC PIPE V3 REEDS. And the cr is much much more fun to ride and a whole less in maintaining. Never have to worry about floatin a valve in a 2t. Just my opinion from my experiences. With a 250 4stroke you will never touch a 450, but with a 250 2stroke you will give that 450 a run for his money!!!!
