HELP, Dr350se won't start

Recommended Posts

Finally made it out to the shop to fix the front suspension, didn't have the dampening rod completely connected. Fixxed that, test ride, perfect. Next, taller handle bars. Test ride, went for a 5 mile ride or so, perfect. Next, installed FMF Powercore exhaust. Motor still warm from previous ride, put on helmet, gloves, turn key, nothing. No idiot lights, headlight, tail lights, nothing. Battery shows 12.4 volts, connection at the battery tight. HELP. SOS. Thanks in advance, Cman.

Under the left side cover very near the battery Mate .

Thanks Shearboy. Found it, fixed it, rode it. Went about 10 miles, love the sound of the FMF. Now I should try and find out why the fuse blew. Srtipped the bike down to the frame and painted the frame last winter. Have a little over 1000 miles since then with no real problems, other than not getting the damping rod in the front end assembled correctlty. A bare wire I would suspect. In 40 + years of motorcycling, never blew a fuse. Thanks again guys.

Look around where you just worked putting the exhaust on , did you by chance have the key on while you were fitting the muffler ?

Maybe you shorted the brake light switch?
