devol front disc guard

I got a devo front disc guard for my 99' kx 250 off of ebay, and for the life of me I can't get the spacers figured out. It came with one spacer, I just can't figure out exactly what side it goes on the inside of the guard or outside of it, and the stock wheel spacer seems to wide with both spacers, so soes the stock one need cut down or what? any help would be kind. thanks

If its like the acerbis ones it is meant to replace the stock spacer.

I'll go try again, but I have done it both ways and can't seem to get it right. something so simple but yet is so mind boggling at the moment.

when you fit the guard ... fit it so the disc is in the center of the guard

make sense ?

I work at a shop, but they were on backorder so I got mine of e-bay. I had some problems fitting it but got that all taking care of today, spacing threw me for a loop. Had to but the spacer on the outside of the guard and cut down the stock one on the inside.
