adjustable clutch lever?

Recommended Posts

SO if I am seeing right, the adjustable clutch levers have a set screw the moves the lever closer to the bar. They seem to have a little different bend on the lever to. They don't do much as for the pull, just repositions the lever closer. Right?

I drilled and tapped the brake lever on my daughters crf70 to bring it closer to the bars. Thinking about doing the same to my WR. My Wr has the hot start and clutch switch in the perch. Any thoughts?

adjusting the lever closer to the bars makes the cable a little tighter as well, resulting in less play in the lever. If you want to adjust the lever without affecting the cable, try moving the perch left or right on the bars so your fingers grab different parts of the lever.
