Jetting Suggestions

Looking for jetting suggestions for 2000 E.

Stock Jetting

3x3 air box mod

Stock exhaust with cnc'd end cap

Elevation 1500ft

No other mods to carb

Stock 45 pilot

158 main jet (up from 142 with the snorkel in)

Stock OBDXP needle. move the clip from -4 to -5 (from the top)

All the rest stock.

So the US E comes with a 142 mj?...Stock for australian E is 165...

Remember to actually remove the snorkel when increasing mj size...

I have have run this setting in my E..all good....:lol:

160 main jet

200 main air jet

100 pilot air jet

EMN needle clip 3 or stock DXP needle clip 5

45 pilot jet

2.25 turns fuel screw

Remove the coast enrichener..Link the 2 ports on the carb with a left over piece of hose..Cap the port on the head....http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=726110&highlight=coast+enrichener+removal

Yes the Aussie E came with 165 main jet and no snorkel. US/Canadian came wit 142 and the snorkel.

Thanks for the settings.

Just got the E, very good shape for the year and basically untouched, but has a slight bog off idle and running lean.
