What is the best place to get a cylinder replated???

Last week my kx125 1997 lost compression and once I took it off I saw that it needs to be replated. The shop near by want to charge me 350-400 for the replating and cylinder, but I am afraid that just like any shop that can turn to 400-600 in no time. What is the recommended place to do that?

and it doesnt change, what they quote is always what ive paid. ive had 3 cylinders done by them.

what sean an kdx said,ive used Millenium before an they do excellent job an i have not used langcourt but they have excellent reviews too.i think the last cylinder that millenium did for me was right around $230 an that was with a little welding done to it.

i was happy with the job Langcourt did on my KDX220. Less than 2 bills.

I've had 3 cylinders done by langcourt recently, and one by millenium. All came back looking great. 2 of the cylinders from langcourt cost me 200, and had to be welded. I get a discount going through a local shop though. I think retail on them would have been $230. Had a 125 cylinder done by U.S. Chrome a couple years ago. I will not use them again.
