torque spacers 2002 cr250

Recommended Posts

i've been looking into cr250 mods, i am going to port and polish and stuff like that but i came across some torque spacers, one by mx bones that is a 5mm exhaust spacer, says noticible improvment on any pipe. if theres an improvement by making it 5mm farther from the cylinder some company should have made a pipe like that by now, so idk if thats bs, the other is a moose reed spacer, suposed to add low end, i have no idea on if this works or not, any advice would be appreciated

It makes the header part of the pipe 5mm longer. In theory this would move the powerband a little. Dont know if it works or not. I ran a moose reed spacer on my 97 cr250. Couldnt really tell a difference.

the pipe spacer SHOULD enhance bottom end, weather or not its noticable is another question. also, bikes with stroked crankshafts like a longer pipe. perhaps this is where it works best?
