Cr 480 Fix Up

Rusted up?? that will need the cases split and a new crank for starters...

Hope you have unlimited funds...just say'n.

I would NOT attempt to start the bike as it sits! With the top end rusted solid like it was, who knows what is going on in the bottom end. If you get it to fire, you may end up with more problems than you have now. As ScaleJockey said, split the cases and see what you have to work with before you try to start it!!!!

I was no where near starting the bike I was just checking the compression. I already have the pot off, and working on getting the piston rings off because they are seized on the piston.

It will need all new bearings and a crank rebuild for sure. Perhaps a new rod if it is rusted.
