How you know your faster than everyone else

Recommended Posts

And then the really crazy psycho rocket ship pilot clears the whole damn thing.

True story, track we used to ride had a setup just like that (60' table, small gap between them 35 ft? then a 50' table). We thought we were pretty hot stuff being able to tag them both and land downside....that was til some guy showed up one day and cleared the whole damn thing on his first lap and every lap after that.

Never saw him again.

It's always amazing when someone shows up at a track and hits something you never even thought possible. Definitely puts things into perspective.

One thing I want to know is: how did he know he was going to make it? Maybe I'm just a wuss, but unless I've seen someone else goes for something like that beforehand; I usually don't even think about attempting it.

hes got some balls for sure, it was the 450 class though so maybe he thought he had a enough power, not sure if a 250f would have made it though

I'm in the same boat, but there's always that guy who seems to be able to do the math in their head on the fly and get it right the first try. Used to ride with one of those guys, was really nice to have a guinea pig in the group.
