can you lower a crf250

i was wondering if you could lower a 2008 crf250r if so what is the website or even how.:lol::ride:

Best way to lower one is to add spacers internally in the shock and forks, making both ends lowered by the same amount. You'll have to have shorter fork springs made, otherwise you'll have way too much preload in the springs and it'll make the forks work much worse. Shorter springs aren't a big deal. it's just part of the job when doing it correctly.

If you lower one end without doing the other, it can make it handle very poorly. Lowering it correctly is one of the more expensive ways but it is completely reversible and works *very* well when done right. I do them fairly often and I always hear the riders wondering why they didn't do it sooner. I'd be glad to help if you want to PM me for more details and pricing. I typically do a revalve while we have it apart.

Cutting the seat foam doesn't do much except ruin the seat.
