Battery float charger-Harbor Freight??

Any experience with the Harbor Freight battery float charger? Does it work or is it junk? I have a small fleet of vehicles with batteries, the Harbor Freight charger is far less expensive than the battery tender.

How about use on Honda generator battery?

Been using the harbor freight float chargers on 10+ batteries for the past 4 years or more through winter. Does what its intended to do. Have boat batteries, riding mower battery, bike batteries, rv 6volt batteries in series on them. Has prolonged the life of all the batteries for years.

I have a Battery Tender brand and a Harbor Freight one and I cant say I see any difference besides the price and the HF has a thinner wire with small box inline (kinda annoying).

I guess the BT came with clamps or hardwire plug and the HF just has clamps, so that might be a plus if you cant make your own and need a hardwired plug. I use the HF on my wifes quad where the battery is accessible so its easy enough to just clip the clamps on.
