1998 DR350 light removal

Recommended Posts

Hi all, was wondering if there was any more to removing my indicators other than just taking them off and terminating each cable individually? I cant seem to find an in line fuse or a fuse box so I presume it wont drain the battery?

I also want to remove the number plate carrier and mount the plate to the rear mud guard. What will be the process for terminating the wire that goes to the number plate light?

Thanks in advance, Mike

Correct, just remove the indicators and insulate the connections to make sure it doesn't short to the frame. There's a fuse in the harness under the left side cover. That's the main fuse, you need that. The fender extension is easy to remove. There is a connector for the license plate light. Just disconnect that and cover it up to keep it from getting dirty.
