Utah Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (UTBDR)

Recommended Posts

I wanted to share a link about the Utah BDR. There is a Butler Map and a DVD about this new motorcycle route coming soon. I mapped the route last year after completing the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route, then we started scouting it early in 2011. Through several iterations we now have a final route across Utah (Arizona border to Idaho border) that will be published in a Butler Map soon. Here is a link to the website about the route and a link to an extended trailer to get you excited to ride it someday. Enjoy.

Note that the map on the website needs to be updated. When we update the site with a more accurate map we will also provide FREE GPS tracks of the route.

Here is the extended trailer on YouTube:

The UTBDR printed map is available for pre-order through Touratech-USA.com and soon will be on ButlerMaps.com.

We hope that many of you will get to ride this amazing route in the future!

The free Google Map of the route has been updated on the utbdr.com website:

Also, the Butler Map of the UTBDR is now available at Touratech.com and BulterMaps.com.

The free GPS track downloads will be available in the near future.

The DVD of the documentary film will be produced by March 2012 I am told by the film producers (Curbsyde Productions http://curbsyde.com/).

Let me know if you have questions about the route. The website has some information and the Bulter Map has loads of information.
