My bike wouldn't start / simple fix (heads up)

Recommended Posts

Last week my wouldn't start. It would fire for a second then die, I quickly noticed the carb vent tube was completely flattened from being pinched in between my skid plate and the stand. I cut off the flattened part of the vent tube and if fired up first kick. Just thought I'd share to add to the list of possibilities for a non starting bike.

yup that's a good one! atleast you found it rather easy. I have also seen where mud/dirt get packed in the end of the hose and do the same thing. It's also a good idea to cut these vent tubes at an angle, helps keep them from packing with mud/dirt...
