2009 KTM Numberplate Backings

On KTMs from this era, the rear fender is sepereated from the airbox, splitting the number plate in half, if I were to get backings, from say Factory backing, how would they work/hold up?

If they're made for your bike I'd expect them to fit just like stock.

i just want to know what they do with the airbox side, does the graphic cover it?

i hope it doesnt just cover the orange sidepanel?

I used decal works, they split the numbers and they look great.

You remove them from the air box (OE graphics) and your number will cover both the plate and air box, otherwise, its too small. (will have a seam at seam in the graphics to remove air box cover) Go to Factory Backings website,they will have pictures. FB ios good stuff, my grandson has been sponsored by them for the last few years. Stays put, durable and good quality and good prices.

No, it doesnt cover the seam and its back a smidge. If it was too close to the seam, it would lift off.
