The stroker spat me off..bugger

Recommended Posts

Well I'm in hospital with 6 broken ribs..:)..

I Was taking a left hander yesterday near home at below normal speed and the SM's rear end washed out big time.. I wasn't expecting it and by the time I reacted it was too late...

A friend that I was with inspected the bike and noted my rear tyre was coated in oil and there was a generous coating of oil on the underside of the rear fender area...

Not too sure where the oil spat out from but he said that the coolant expansion tank was full of an oil coloured substance...

Possibly blown a head gasket??..Will investigate when I recover..which is prob going to be a few weeks...

Oil on rear tire.. Coolant tank filled with oil/ coolant mix?

Yes, Id guess headgasket.

for the sake of variety i'll have a bourbon for you,............... when i get home from work in a few hours. heal quickly and get some stool softeners. there's not much worse than trying to push out a narcotic hardened deuce with a six pack of broken ribs.

take care.

Mmmm..I would probably say somewhere between medium and hard...I have done about 8K on this rebuild..

I was going to do piston replacement/top end inspection at 10K..

but it would appear that may be happening somewhat sooner than I planned...
