hard clutch pull

Recommended Posts

its been awhile since ive rode my 74 YZ125. i start it up once in awhile and tool around the neighborhood. but ive been newer bikes a lot more in the past 2 years. anyways i got the bike out today and the clutch pull seemed VERY stiff. i lubed the cable, checked the cable condition, when the cable is off it slides smooth. so my question is what would cause the clutch from going from not too bad to very stiff? im sure its something internal, but id like to have an idea of what i should be looking for before i start digging in the case.
