2011 KTM 200 Choke adjustment

Recommended Posts

Hey all! I have a new 2011 KTM and when I start it cold I choke it. But when I kick it over and it starts, the bike screams with high revs. Seems like my choke is set too high. Is there a way to adjust it so it starts without the screaming?

Both my 200's have done this, even when I was running the 39mm carb with a 48p. I just deal with it by pushing it off quickly, then modulating it till the bike idles on it's own.

I am not sure what the cure is, but there is no way to adjust the choke.

my 250sx does the same thing...I just use the choke to start it, then turn it off. The bike idles fine without it
