2001 TTR 225 kickstart?

I just bought my wife a 2001 ttr 225 as a Christmas present.. I would like to add a kickstart to the bick just in case is this possible?

Absolutely. Yamaha part number 3RW-W0795-00. It's listed for the XT225, but the TT-R uses the same motor as the 2000 and below XT225 does. Ignore the "2004 and later model" notes no matter what year TT-R you have. (not OP, anyone who reads this thread)

Thanks for the info, getting it tomorrow and going to start the mods immeadiatly. Just going to be a trail bike for her.If she doesnt ride it much it will just be another toy for me?

Well im pretty lucky, my wife is good looking, makes a good living and does almost everything I do. But with 2 boys I dont know if she has much choice. This year is our 10th anniversary and 15th together. Seeing how I am only 31 thats a long time for me, so Im going all out this year for her. The bike new gear and of course some of girls best friend...diamonds in case everything else isnt a hit:lol:
