2004 te 450

Picked it up a 2004 TE 450 with 2900 miles this weekend and got my first ride in. I grew up riding but took the last 15 years off other than a quad I bought a year ago...I'm 50. So need I say it was a bit much at first but a great time.

I wanted a Supermoto but got this in an even trade for my quad. Has the Ziptie Slave cyl, Rear disc gaurd, Full skid, Bark busters, New DOT Knobbies, 7602 covers, Radiator gaurds, 3gal Tank and the Carb jet/accelerator pump work done (starts with ease). Oh yes and a complete log from new recording every maintenace item done and upgrade with reciepts.

So on to my questions.

1) Will this be a good canidate for SM wheels and some 1-2 hour open road riding between trails with the right gearing? What is the the suggested sprocket choice if so?

2)What could I expect to get out of a set of dirt wheels with brand new DOT knobbies?
