Nope, this isn't a question. I've stumbled upon somebody who has done the conversion.

Update: He put up some pictures of graphics and him riding it. Looks like the hardest part after making the tank would be manipulating the rear fender to graft onto the old one. That seems to be what he did.

looks awesome, but that tank looks WAY too small for a 2 stroke. i think you would run out of gas far too quickly.

yea not digging the tank....idk i like it but the tank needs to be in a diff shape and i bet he didnt save much on weight with that tank....i did the 2008-2011 front fender and numberplate conversion on mine and im good with that.....prob gonna have more money wrapped up into it then hes gonna get outta it..........

If you look down the thread more, he wrapped it in carbon fiber so it looks alright and he put the rockstar makita graphics on.

does it say how much fuel the tank holds in the original thread? I can't seem to open it from my computer right now.
