Can't find husky bits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I own a 2000 husqvarna TE 410 and am in the uk. I have been trying to get it up to scratch.

Whilst trying to find bits including technosel type graphix and plastics Search after search and finding nothing, even on fleebay, I am starting to think these bikes might be a bit crap and forgotten.

If I was searching for kx or yz parts the lists are endless!!

Before I get shot of the bike does anyone know of any suppliers of bits for this bike with a shop like a sweet shop where I will be spoilt for choice!!? apart from main dealers, as the last bit I bought from a dealer was far to much money!! Any advice gratefully taken from me and the forgotten one!!

Cheers.

Jono.

There are several places here in the U.S. You might try Tasky's or Halls. Don't discount the old 410. The year before last, a friend of mine took his TE 410 to Baja, he does not maintain it, just puts gas in and rides mind you, and that bike took a beating and made it through with no problems at all! Good luck in your search.

Hi ,

you don't say which model of 410, the e-start was a little odd-ball ( I had one new),

the left kicker a popular bike, but ended in 2000,

the plastics and most chassis parts were interchangeable,

What do you need,

I got plastics , etc from ORO in Llandod..,

I just buy parts and stock them,

Taliesin , Motosupplies , and others are good,

Huskysport should have everthing you need too - but you've probably already used them ,

Thanks to you both and sorry for the late reply, been a busy week!! My Husky is the kick start model and still no luck on the graphics as of yet but I am still trying. I found 1 site but it was in a different language and am still trying to translate to find out were they are!! Plastics wise I am after radiator shrouds.

Cheers folks.

Sorry Charlie. Yes have bought bits from Husky sport and they are to pricey for basic bits so don't even want to ask for a price on plastics and graphics!!

Trying to find gaphics that aren't standard anyway.

Hi Dave and welcome,

I have used "blackbird" graphics and seat covers , bought through

"off-road-only" in Lllandrindod Wells, Wales - mail order company with a shop out front..!!

I've been out of circulation for a while , but they were great when I've used them before,

Taliesin in West Wales are 610 specialists,

lots of goodies but not necessarily the cheap option,

The husky race shop in Carnforth Lancs, sell a fair bit of second hand stuff via Ebay,

good luck,

Charlie

Hi Dave. I am from somerset.

I have found quite a few places to get graphics now but they all seem to be standard graphics and I was after something a bit different to make the bike stand out a bit.

I tried blackbird racing but the graphics they have for Hukys are very plane!!

But hay ho my quest goes on for a minute.Let me know if you have any luck finding stuff?

Cheers Jono.

Hi there, this may be a long shot. A lot of years ago I used to work for a company called busways in the north east, and a guy I worked beside was restoring a yamaha. He contacted the head office and got them to make copies of side panel graphics on the machine they had to make vinyl advertising for the buses. I will do some asking about to see if they still do it,as I am still in contact with some of the guys I worked with, and will let you know if I am sucsessful

there are several UK ( MX Biased) companies that make custom Grafix ( riders names , team logo's.etc)

not cheap but if you want someting "special" then £50 / £100 is not too bad,

try the old TMX news for names,

or maybe the sponsors of "enduronews",

Charlie
